Eddie Rodriguez is an amazing DJ talent from Newark, New Jersey who caught the music bug in the 70’s by sneaking practice sessions on his cousins 1200s. Listening to Tony Humphries Kiss master mixes became a ritual and he eventually witnessed the legend play live at Club Zanzibar. This turned out to be a life altering experience for Eddie and he soon began throwing his own parties around the neighborhood.

Eventually Eddie formed the House Funktion promotion crew and landed residencies at various clubs in New York and New Jersey. Around 2003 Eddie began piecing together a humble production studio and learning the craft of making music for club heads.

In 2004, Soltrenz label owner Moises Modesto suggested that Eddie Rodriguez and Taino Rivera team up and they started having regular studio sessions. It was immediately obvious that these two forces were even more potent when placed together in a recording studio. In 2005 the duo decided to officially re-launch the production side of the Soulseekers brand.
