Soulseeker Productions: page 1
The Soulseekers are the production team of Taino Rivera and Eddie Rodriguez. Taino, born and bred in Brooklyn, NY realized he wanted to be a DJ at around the age of eight after witnessing his uncle mix for the first time. Unfortunately he would not touch a turntable until high school but he was hooked nonetheless. Soon after graduating high school, Tai enrolled himself in The Center for the Media Arts to become an audio engineer

.

After earning his engineering status he slowly built his first recording studio and began recording local talent. Eventually he would wind up mixing and programming for Artists like Duane Harden of Strictly Rhythm.

Around 1995 Taino and his close friends began throwing impromptu house parties in their Brooklyn apartment-recording studio. The Soulseeker parties were named for the deep blend of Disco, House, Techno and Hip-Hop played at these parties. Taino and his original production partner Ecue began composing original tunes and officially scored their first hit on Nervous Records in 1999. The big vocal anthem entitled Nowhere Love featured a remix by the legendary Junior Vasquez and quickly hit #3 on the Billboard break out charts.

After a couple of small follow up records the original production team went separate ways due to a difference in direction but Tai kept the Soulseeker name alive through his recording studio and web presence. The two remain close friends till this day.
